Dixie is doing great. We could
not ask for a better dog. She has tracked
deer very well. Last night
I shot a doe and did not make a very good
shot. The deer took of
running into some briars a good way from
the stand. I went and got
Dixie and my husband came by on the way
home from work. He started
trying to track the deer and was unable to
find any blood. Well, when
Dixie got there she immediately picked up on
the smell. She kept
tracking and came right up on the deer. We
are so proud of her. Ken
we really enjoyed working with you on
getting Dixie. Everything you
said about this type of dog was right. She is
also very well with my
kids. We have keep her inside during the
night and while we are away
she stays in a 10 by 13 kennel outside.
Everyone at the camp and
hunting club love her. Especially all of the
kids.
